Bablefish project involved four arts organisations: APNA Arts, EMACA, City Arts and the Angel Row gallery, 3 artists, Joy Foxley, Donna Grffiths and Said Adrus and two exhibitions:
Babel - Contemporary Art and the Journey of Communication at the Angel Row gallery and an exhibition by the Singh Twins at the Art Exchange and one primary school, Douglas primary school.
Workshops with the young students took place at the school and the two galleries with a family day event-taking place at the Art Exchange.
The project aimed to draw from the expertise of culturally diverse artists and arts organisations and work with the themes presented by the two exhibitions.
To support the project an Art, Language and Cultural Diversity training day took place at the Castle Museum for artists, art administrators, facilitators and teachers.
