Aims of Apna Arts

To deliver the mission statement APNA Arts works holistically with the following aims:

Providing advice, information and advocacy

Organising festivals, events and exhibitions of the highest quality

Developing innovative and traditional South Asian arts nation-wide

To work with, and empower young people to develop their skills and talent

Work in partnership with artists, performers and other mainstream and community organisations to develop audiences tastes and their empathy for South Asian arts To work closely with schools and other partners to develop an education strategy around issues of lifelong learning, the arts, citizenship education, home/school links, oral history and literature.
